Mechanical & Electrical Upgrade

Taylered was engaged by Region Group to deliver mechanical and electrical upgrade works at the Target tenancy within Warrnambool Shopping Centre. The project aimed to modernise key building systems, improve energy efficiency, and ensure compliance with current operational standards.

The scope included the demolition of existing central plant including cooling tower, AHU, boiler, chiller and four package units. Design and installation of two 200kW PAC Units to replace the central plant, a new mechanical services switchboard, internal and external duct work, four 56kW PAC units to replace existing units and a new BMS. Works were staged to allow part of the tenancy to remain operational, with careful planning to minimise disruption and maintain safety.

Taylered collaborated closely with project consultants and Region Group representatives to ensure a high-quality, compliant, and coordinated delivery within an active retail environment.
